Mr. Eshu Bumpus visited our school last week and captivated us with his storytelling skills. He told several African Folktales that had us all laughing and jumping out of our skin! The Cat's Purr was one of our favorites.

The second graders are doing a nice job collecting items to donate to Neighbors Helping Neighbors. We will continue collecting Health and Beauty items until February 12th. UPDATE: The second grade team was able to donate 476 health and beauty items to Neighbors Helping Neighbors. Thank you for your support with this service project for our community.
The students in my FIT group are reading HORRIBLE HARRY IN ROOM 2B. W are having some fun learning how to make STUB PEOPLE just like Horrible Harry did with all the junk he found around his classroom. I wonder how the stub people will help Harry take over the world!
